The Adventures of Mitch Mason: Book One. Was designed with the goal to reflect a sense of awe, technology, and transformation at the heart of the story. The glowing orb in Mitch’s hands, the loyal robotic dog, and the mysterious forest backdrop all represent key elements of the sci-fi journey. Mitch’s stance and expression capture the moment everything changes—where purpose begins. Each visual decision was made to invite middle grade and YA readers into a story of discovery, and courage.
I designed this book cover for Bound by Deception using Adobe Photoshop and Firefly. My goal was to visually convey the emotional weight of the story—romance entangled with betrayal—through rich, cinematic imagery. The setting, deep red tones, and distant third figure were intentionally chosen to reflect the themes of secrecy, tension, and passion. Every detail, from the lighting to the typography, was selected to hint at the underlying deception capturing the allure of a forbidden love.
This cover for Raven was designed using Adobe Photoshop and Firefly to evoke suspense, symbolism, and atmospheric depth. The scene features a lone raven perched at a writer’s desk, lit by a moody storm outside—a visual metaphor for the story’s haunting tone. The tagline, “The only witness with wings,” inspired the use of feathers, redacted documents, and low lighting to imply secrecy, surveillance, and truth untold.
